The sounds I have chosen for this exercise are specifically meant to contrast the relaxing ASMR like gif animation of the watercolor brush technique. The video with it's shallow depth of field and central focus lull the viewer into a false sense of relaxation, while the sound is a distraction, a constant buzzing in the back of your mind. Quiet voices talking with the humming of machines in the distance, this file was recorded at a wedding I recently worked.
The hose water is a rushing sound with changes in the noise of the water from time to time, and the sink water is the closing sound of water tapering off, dripping against the metal of the sink. The animation will begin with the voices talking, something to distract you from the sheen of the water as it is painted on the paper, and slowly the sound of water will come rushing in. Finally, the video will finish with the sink water tapering off just as the animation finishes.
