Here are two examples of animation. The first animation is from the movie Pink Floyd The Wall, and the second animation is a short animation by Tim Burton 1982, one of his beginning works. Below is an example of cinemagraphs.
Mark Dion is a well known art school graduate that isn't just your ordinary artist, painter, or sculptor, however he does something much different from other artists. Mark creates artwork out of regular every-day items and arranges them in a way that creates it into a piece of art. You name it he will create something amazing out of it. Mark graduated from University of Hartford, School of Art, Connecticut, and continues to live happily there while still creating his work on a daily basis. Not to mention, Dion has won countless awards throughout his career while having many pieces of his work displayed in various museums all across the United States.
In the biography about Mark, they say “Dion creates works that question the distinctions between “objective” (“rational”) scientific methods and “subjective” (“irrational”) influences.” This was very inspirational to me making me realize there are so many different mediums of art that are endless. Watching the video makes me really believe art will never die in our society. It also made me realize that going outside of your comfort zone and really expressing yourself will help you create the best pieces. Mark Dion is an inspiration to many people, and so many people, including myself, are drawn to his abstract sculptures making anybody really think twice about what art really is and could be. Here are some of his pieces below that really caught my eye. Respectable artist Alberto Seveso, born and raised in Milan Italy, is an amazing digital artist that uses tools such as photoshop to make most of his artwork. Alberto was inspired as a young child fascinated by things like the artwork on skateboards, music albums, and so much more. He started young with computers, cameras, and other gadgets turning his fascination soon into a passion and later a very successful career. His work is now featured on and in magazines, websites, billboards, and so much more! If turning your passion into your career isn't success I don't know what is! Here are a few examples of some of his artwork that really caught my eye that I myself was fascinated with. After seeing some of his work you will realize adobe photoshop has endless opportunities for anybody with a little bit of effort!
