Mt. Lemmon Camping Time Lapse

Mt. Lemmon Camping Time Lapse from Briana Lin on Vimeo.

Camping is something everybody should experience at least once in their life. It is such a humbling experience to be so close to nature and away from almost all technology and electronic frequencies. I am a believer that art should be portrayed realistically or unrealistically, depending on the what the artist wants. I wanted this piece to represent the realistic aspect of setting up a campsite in its entirety: the going back and forth from the car to the site, setting up the tent, getting the fire started, unloading the food, etc. The pictures are just as important as the sound, and I wanted something that could stand alone either or, but would very much compliment the other when put together. I took a realistic sound and make it unique in its own way. This piece is to portray that life is all about simplicity and that everyone should find beauty in the smallest, minuscule things that don't involve materialistic items.
