UNIT 1 - Website Final - Clean up the website

Due on Wednesday 12/3 - FINAL DAY OF CLASS

Objective: Make the website into a portfolio for the class. Make the class website cleaner and easier to navigate.

Process:

  1. Create buttons on your student home page (the page that has your name on it that you wrote about yourself and put the original picture)
Buttons should be:

BLOG
LOGO
PHOTOSHOP EXERCISE

CREATING A LIE

ANIMATION EXERCISE

ANIMATION (you can delete the first animation project that doesn’t have sound)

VIDEO EXERCISE

VIDEO

If you have a name for a project you can name the button that instead of “Animation”

Example: “Alaska”  instead of “Animation”

  1. Link buttons to corresponding pages. As in Animation button links to your Animation page.

In the PAGES tab go through each one of your pages and check

“Hide from Navigation”

This is going to take all those pages off of the top navigation page.

  1. Rewrite your statement about yourself on your main page Make it an artist statement about you as artist in relation to your digital art and digital art experience.

Worth 20 points!

Add two additional Pages to your own Page - “Logo” and “Blog”
