My name is Marlena Cynthia Evans Milum. I am a 22 year old senior majoring in Communication BS, I will be graduating this December. I am a Phoenix girl born and raised, I love the heat and everything that comes with it: the desert sunsets, the beautiful hiking trails and the ability to wear a summer dress 365 days a year.

Art is everywhere I look, whether I see a mural on the side of a delivery truck, or someone is talking to themselves on the street. Every aspect of this world is creative based. With technology, art becomes even broader, and easier accessible and done by those who think they are not artistically inclined. This allows anyone to be an artist, anyone can create. This seems to be the best environment for anyone.

My interests have always made its way back to art. From elementary school art projects of our founding fathers and in class presentations of having to draw out the state of New Mexico; leading to going to after school art club in middle school; taking the reigns in highschool and assistant-teaching at Shemers Art Center, going to college and taking extra classes to explore more into a subject that I have always loved. I plan on always incorporating my love of art in everything I do.
