Rachel Heitz 

Hey there, my name's Rachel.   I've lived all over the world.  Born in Idaho, raised on Guam, have lived in Korea, have experienced both wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, through the military.   My experiences through the last 8 years of military service and my life have developed my interest in the digital arts.  Art is a way for me to funnel my concentration and also other personal feelings into something creative and beautiful.  It has often times been my sounding board when don't want to be a "little social butterfly."   It's my inner person coming out.  My personal theme for all of my digital projects is "Through the Looking Glass"  like Alice down the Rabbit hole, that is how I see media and it's use.  Taking the viewer somewhere else and having them immersed in the artists creation.  I enjoy the combination of sight and sound in conjunction with digital media so with that said that  implement is very pivotal not only to what I shoot on the photography side but to the end product on the digital side.   An appreciation for  the interesting things and  the odd things and life have led me to my own style photographically and digitally, if it isn't unique why do it. .  I hope you enjoy what you see and hear.  Listen to some music put your head back and dream through this landscape of digital media....
