There has been a lot of change in my life in the recent month - big life changes that have caused direct impact of how I now live my life. A career changes that will effect how my future will turn out and also a death in the family. The smoke represents that change, it is the aftermath of the flame that once existed and that was the old major and the life, before they moved onto the next phase after a fire, flame, life is put out. ASU has been a huge foundation point for my life and it will hopefully continue to be, but this shows my leaving a previous life of architecture behind to follow a dream of being a photographer. A death in the family at such a young age puts your thoughts and feelings into perspective about what you could do. I like to take things into my own hands and do things by myself if at all possible and that is the reason for the original images taken by myself. This is going to be a year of big changes, changes for the good - its time to put out the old flame, and watch the smoke rise up into the future. 

Well I know this isn't the project, but I couldn't help going about with out trying to re-create one of my Hockney examples! This is a giant Angry Bird that used to be my dog's toy!
