This work is a combination of both the relaxing nature of ASMR  (video-audio memory stimuli) and watercolor painting technique. The collision of these two areas aid in describing a setting a scene portraying the winding down of the mind, racing from the days trials and tribulations, to the ebb and flow of the creative process. Using noise from a busy night at a restaurant is key to giving the audience an experience of the afterthoughts of the time after a shift is over, the buzz of patrons and clamor of equipment.
In the last parts of the video, the rushing and trickling water are symbolic of letting go of the days worry and giving in to the creative flow, rushing first and coming down to a slow drizzle towards the completion of the artwork. Together, the sound and video are a personal embodiment of the creative process from which I work.
