WHAT? Looked at this blog: http://azzaalshamsi.wordpress.com
WHO? Azza Alshamsi
WHEN? This was written circa June 2010
WHY? I enjoyed this artist statement because he had a lovely visual to compensate for any lost words. I felt like I new the artist better by seeing what he would choose to put right next to or on his own artist statement. I love his compelling contrasts. There are so many different things out there.
HOW? This artist statement will help me in later writings to be bold, and have fun with it. Almost like writing poetry you want to keep your reader reading.

WHAT? Robyn Wohl's work: http://robynwohl.com/portfolio.html
WHO? Robyn Wohl
WHEN? Circa 2007
WHY? It is funny, I couldn't find a statement I did not like besides very long and elaborate ones, which seemed to be the easy "go-to" statement to tear down. Robyn Wohl makes a lot of opinionated ideas/thoughts of the world which readers may or may not respect. America has always been a working country, thus that is why we have come so far so quickly and have beaten other countries to a lot of creations, etc. I do not agree whole heartedly with Robyn Wohl.
HOW? This artist statement makes me want to be a positive spin on all outlooks, and try to use more of a cushioned subject for my viewers.
