Snow Queen is a Russian Animation created by Russian Director Lev Atamanov. It is an adaption of Hans Christen Anderson's book of the same name. When I was a kid back in the late 60's and early 70's this show would appear around Christmas time, although the general theme of the story had nothing to do with Christmas. To watch this movie as a kid was a creepy experience. This film got world wide acclaim when it was released. Not sure why it doesn't get played anymore.
